Try to plan some fun campaigns around these holidays, especially if you have products that are relevant (or, even if you don’t!). Here are some days in February we pulled from our annual Holiday Marketing Calendar to inspire you to have a little fun and earn some big sales this year:
February 2nd - Groundhog Day Idea: Send an email asking for predictions on whether Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow. Those who vote and answer correctly will receive some type of special offer on your products. February 9th – National Pizza Day Idea: Any way you slice it, this one is a no brainer. Who doesn’t love pizza (well, except for my 9-year old son Parker but he’s an anomaly)? Send out an interactive pizza-themed infographic and then tie in your products, showing them how they can get a larger piece of the $24.7 billion industry pie. February 10th – Umbrella Day Idea: Did you know that 45% of households own an umbrella with a company’s logo and/or message on it? Flood your inbox with leads by creating a content marketing piece that shares some unique types of end-buyers that umbrellas can be marketed to. Show them you got them covered. February 14th – Valentine’s Day Love is at the center of everything we do so why not share it, especially on social. Create a video that couples some of your products together so you can help distributors make the connection for those products that go hand-in-hand. February 18th – Drink Wine Day Don’t make a pour decision by forgetting this day. There is a myriad of marketing possibilities here if you sell wine-related products. There’s also the opportunity to promote products that pair well with wine. Think food, chocolates, fuzzy socks for a quiet night at home or think big in terms of the rewards and incentives market – a $90 billion industry. February 20th – Love Your Pet Day Did you know that most households in the U.S. have at least one pet? This is a great chance to promote your pet products – whether you have apparel, accessories or anything that could be useful for furry friends. Write a blog for your website that features images of employee pets (if they’re wearing some of your products, you’ll get a paw-up on the competition for sure) and then share that on your social channels. We released an entire calendar of fun holidays to plan your content around in 2020. Download our calendar now and get a full year of ideas for campaigns, content pieces, videos and social media posts that will help you capitalize on these holidays in our fun industry.
