Set goals for your company’s success: de-clutter your advertising strategy, hone in on your marketing mix and if there is something you have always wanted to try out – do it!
Usually you would think before summer is your “fit-fam” time of year, but really for me that is after summer when I am not running to the beach every weekend and eating curly fries. The same applies for your company. What goals do you want your company to accomplish? In my experience there are usually a couple reasons why goals are not met. Either you don’t know the right audience you are trying to reach or you are picking way too many goals for one set time and you need to pare down. Set one goal – when you are trying to create brand awareness, promote a new product and get prospects to buy your product you lose focus. Always make sure that one single goal has one campaign message attached to it. As for your audience, establish your target and gear your messaging towards that audience. My closet is so full, the whole thing is about to tumble over and I will be lost in the abyss of my sweater collection – can anyone relate? De-cluttering your advertising strategy is KEY. Really look at your advertising metrics, what is performing, what is lacking, where do you think you are missing key tactics in your strategy? This is very important as you finish out the year. Figuring out what is working for your company is the best way to finish out the year strong and start off on the right foot for the upcoming year. This is a great time of year to bring in something new to your marketing mix. Having a healthy mixture of print, digital and social media strategies in your marketing efforts could really bring your company to victory. It is like picking up a new hobby, trying out a new hair style or if you are me – seeing if I could become a ‘hat person.’ Having a great mix of strategies is the perfect way to ensure that you are everywhere that your prospects are!
