Tips for a Successful Virtual Event

If there’s one thing we miss more than anything in our working lives, it’s connecting with promo products industry folks like you at our ASI Shows. Thankfully, our amazing events team at ASI is busy building our first-ever all-virtual trade show (if you aren’t signed up for ASI Show Digital Expo, what are you waiting for?!) so you can get the promotional product sourcing and networking you love, all from the safety of your home or office.

To get us all prepped for the big event, we’ve come up with a few expert tips for you to get the most out of your virtual trade show experience.
 

•  Create a Perfect Presentation
  Keep attendees engaged throughout the event with a thoughtful, visually pleasing presentation. Weave in a variety of presentation tactics, including video, polls, Q&A and more.
• Prioritize Branding
  When executing a marketing strategy, having cohesive messaging across the board is key. Apply these same principles to your virtual event approach and prepare presentations, backgrounds and videos to match your brand.
• Be Ready for Everything
  Use a detailed itinerary to sort out your plans for the day. Are you putting on a virtual product demo? Sending materials after the event? Have your schedule and information on hand to ensure you have all the answers at the drop of a hat.
• Practice Makes Perfect
  Do a run-through of your event with your team a few days prior to the live date. This will help you find any bumps in the road with enough time to make changes.
